BreastScreen NSW

The BreastScreen NSW van will be onsite at BACHS between 22 February and 6 March. BreastScreen NSW provides free screening mammograms for women between the ages of 50 and 74.

Breast cancer treatment is most successful when the cancer is still small and has not spread to other parts of the body. That’s why screening mammograms are so important. A screening mammogram is the best way to detect breast cancer early, before any symptoms are noticed.

When breast cancer is picked up early, most women will recover and can quickly get back to normal life – so a 20-minute breast screen appointment every two years can make all the difference.
