Jo has been a specialist independent Director of BACHS since April 2022.

Jo has a broad career over 25 years in public and private health, education and social sectors including holding senior roles in governance, risk and commercial operations including the establishment of the first rural medical school in Australia.  Jo also has her own consultancy specialising in co-designing innovative model of access and health care delivery.

Jo holds a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology) and a Micro Master of Innovation (RWTH Aachne University).  With a long-standing connection to Bourke, Jo is determined to support BACHS achieve measurable improvements in the lives, wellbeing and health outcomes of First Nations People locally.

Bruce has been a specialist independent Director of BACHS since June 2021.

Bruce has over 35 years of experience in real estate funds management and operations; including holding senior management roles within large listed Australian property and fund managers including Bankers Trust, Lend Lease, GPT Group and MIrvac Group.

Bruce holds a Bachelor of Business and a Master of Commerce (Finance). He is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has held several company Directorships including in the not-for-profit sector and Aboriginal Controlled Health Services. He has a particular interest in supporting First Nations communities and in primary health care.
